Changes to Local Rules Proposed to Become Effective December 1, 2024

The Court has approved amendments, additions, and deletions to the local rules listed below, proposed to be effective on December 1, 2024.  A redline of the proposed changes accompanies the electronic version of this notice and can also be found on the Court’s website.  The proposed rules slated for amendment, addition, and deletion are as follows:

Local Civil Rules:

• L.R. 4-6 (addition)
• L.R. 5-4.8.1 (revision)
• L.R. 11-3.8 (revision)
• L.R. 73-1 (revision)
• L.R. 73-2.1, 73-2.2, and 73-2.3 (revision)
• L.R. 73-2.4, 73-2.4.1, 73-2.4.1.1, 73-2.4.2, 73-2.5, and 73-2.6 (deletion)
• L.R. 79-5.2 (revision)

Local Criminal Rules:

• L.Cr.R. 7-1 (revision)
• L.Cr.R. 7-2 (revision)
• L.Cr.R. 17-4 (revision)
• L.Cr.R. 49-1.2 (revision)

Members of the public are invited to submit comments on the proposed changes to the rules.  Comments may be submitted to <[email protected]>.  Only comments submitted by electronic mail to this address will be considered.

All comments must be submitted no later than November 4, 2024.  All timely received comments will be considered by the Court before final adoption of the rules.
